The US stock market

Hello Everyone

Yesterday saw the "Markets" fall big style as "bad" forces combined to knock spots of the shares, with both the Dow and S&P 500 posting their first monthly drops since January of this year.

The only possible light at the end of the tunnel could come with the ISM Manufacturing PMI report due at 3pm (BST), just one of 13 data reports today.

Gold didn't escape the downward rush either, as it too fell over 15.00 points during the day (Thursday) to close at 1282.25.

Hello Everyone

Friday saw the "Markets" close in the "Red" as the S&P 500 posted its worst weekly drop in more than two years, reaching the bottom trendline on my platform chart, so it is going to be very interesting to see if there is another bounce upward towards the top line pass the 2000 mark ?

Yesterday saw all three "Markets" close in the "Green" today might just give us an idea how the "markets" are heading with the "ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI" report due at 3pm (BST), some heavyweight earnings and data on the services sector are also expected today, so trade carefully.

After a downturn on Tuesday, yesterday saw the three "markets" back in the "Green" as the S&P 500 continues to snake up the lower trendline of my graph.

Gold neared its highest in more than a week as fears of Russian military action against Ukraine and retaliation by Moscow over Western sanctions burnished gold's appeal as a safe haven.

After a week of ups & downs on the "Markets", geopolitical tensions continue to lead the way with concerns over the future of Federal Reserve policy, ugly economic data from Europe, and central banks in the UK. and the euro zone failing to reassure investors at policy meetings this week, we might not be out of the woods just yet.

All three "Markets" finish of last weeks ("Buy" day "Sell" day) trading cycle in a bullish mood, after a couple of quoted companies posted improved full-year and half-year reports led by Conoil Plc and Forte Oil Plc.

Lets hope the other turmoils that have pledged others around the world have subsided and we can get back to daily business.
